గతంలో జరిగిపోయిన విషయాలు గురించి తెలియజేయడానికి SIMPLE PAST ఉపయోగిస్తారు. ఇప్పుడు Simple past passive voice గురించి తెలుసుకుందాం.

1. ఒక సెంటెన్స్ లో I/He/She/It లు సబ్జెక్టులు గా ఉండి అందులో Did ఉంటే అది ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో was గా మారుతుంది.

2.ఒక సెంటెన్స్ లో We/You/They లు సబ్జెక్టులు గా ఉండి అందులో Did ఉంటే అది ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో were గా మారుతుంది.

క్రింద రెండు ఉదాహరణలు ఇచ్చినాము వీటిని కొంచెం జాగ్రత్తగా చదవండి

Example 1:

1.He washed the car.(అతను కారును కడిగినాడు)

Subject = He , Verb= Washed , Object= Car

1.పై వాక్యం సబ్జెక్టుతో ప్రారంభమైంది కాబట్టి ఇది యాక్టివ్ వాయిస్ లో ఉంది. దీనిని ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో మార్చుటకు ఆబ్జెక్టు అయిన Car తో వాక్యాన్ని ప్రారంభించాలి.

Did+Verb1=Verb2

పై వాక్యంలో Did ఉన్నది ఎలాగంటే Did + wash = washed కాబట్టి

2.తరువాత Car సింగులర్ కాబట్టి was సహాయక్రియను ఉపయోగించాలి. (ఒకవేళ object ప్లూరల్ అయితే were వస్తుంది)

3.Washed అనే verb యొక్క మూడో రూపం wahsed ఉపయోగించాలి.

wash – washed – washed – washing

4.తర్వాత by ఉపయోగించాలి.

5.యాక్టివ్ వాయిస్ లో ఉన్న సబ్జెక్టు “He” ఇక్కడ Him గా మారుతుంది..

పైన ఉన్న పాయింట్స్ ప్రకారం Active voice సెంటెన్స్ ని Passive voice లోకి మారిస్తే క్రింది విధంగా వస్తుంది.

The car was washed by him (కారును అతను కడిగినాడు లేదా కారు అతని చేత కడగబడినది)

ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో నెగిటివ్ సెంటెన్సెస్ రాయడం చాలా సులభం ప్రతి Be form కి పక్కనే Not చేరిస్తే అది నెగిటివ్ సెంటెన్స్ గా మార్చబడుతుంది.

కాబట్టి ఇప్పుడు was పక్కన not పెడతాము.

The car was not washed by him (కారును అతను కడగలేదు లేదా కారు అతని చేత కడగబడలేదు)

పై రెండు సెంటెన్సెస్ ని Interrogative sentences గా మార్చుటకు బి ఫామ్ అయిన was ని సెంటెన్స్ మొదట ఉంచుతాము.

Was the car washed by him (కారును అతను కడిగినాడా ? లేదా కారు అతని చేత కడగబడినదా?)

Was the car not washed by him (కారును అతను కడగలేదా? లేదా కారు అతని చేత కడగబడలేదా?)

Example 2:

We answered the questions .( మేము ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబు ఇచ్చినాము)

Subject = We , Verb= Answered, Object= Questions

1.పై వాక్యం సబ్జెక్టుతో ప్రారంభమైంది కాబట్టి ఇది యాక్టివ్ వాయిస్ లో ఉంది. దీనిని ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో మార్చుటకు ఆబ్జెక్టు అయిన Questions తో వాక్యాన్ని ప్రారంభించాలి.

పై వాక్యంలో Did ఉన్నది ఎలాగంటే Did + answer = answered కాబట్టి

2.తరువాత Questions ప్లూరల్ కాబట్టి were సహాయక్రియను ఉపయోగించాలి. (ఒకవేళ object సింగులర్ అయితే was వస్తుంది)

3.Answered అనే verb యొక్క మూడో రూపం Answered ఉపయోగించాలి.

Answer – Answered – Answered – Answering

4.తర్వాత by ఉపయోగించాలి.

5.యాక్టివ్ వాయిస్ లో ఉన్న సబ్జెక్టు “We” ఇక్కడ Us గా మారుతుంది.

The questions were answered by us (ప్రశ్నలకు మేము జవాబు చెప్పినాము లేదా ప్రశ్నలు మా చేత జవాబు చెప్పబడినాయి)

ప్యాసివ్ వాయిస్ లో నెగిటివ్ సెంటెన్సెస్ రాయడం చాలా సులభం ప్రతి Be form కి పక్కనే Not చేరిస్తే అది నెగిటివ్ సెంటెన్స్ గా మారిపోతుంది.

కాబట్టి ఇప్పుడు were పక్కన not పెడతాము.

The questions were not answered by us (ప్రశ్నలకు మేము జవాబు చెప్పలేదు లేదా ప్రశ్నలు మా చేత జవాబు చెప్పబడలేదు)

పై రెండు సెంటెన్సెస్ ని Interrogative sentences గా మార్చుటకు బి ఫామ్ అయిన were ని సెంటెన్స్ మొదట ఉంచుతాము.

Were the questions answered by us (ప్రశ్నలకు మేము జవాబు చెప్పినామా? లేదా ప్రశ్నలు మా చేత జవాబు చెప్పబడి నాయా?)

Were the questions not answered by us (ప్రశ్నలకు మేము జవాబు చెప్పలేదా? లేదా ప్రశ్నలు మా చేత జవాబు చెప్పబడలేదా?)

1. I bought a book.	1. నేను ఒక పుస్తకం కొన్నాను.
A book was bought by me.	పుస్తకమును నేను కొన్నాను (లేదా) పుస్తకము నా చేతకొనబడింది.
A book was not bought by me.	పుస్తకమును నేను పని లేదు
Was a book bought by me?	పుస్తకమును నేను కొన్నానా?
Was a book not bought by me?	పుస్తకమును నేను కొనలేదా?

2. She washed clothes.	2. ఆమె బట్టలు ఉతికింది.
Clothes were washed by her.	బట్టలను ఆమె ఉతికింది
Clothes were not washed by her.	బట్టలను ఆమె ఉతకలేదు
Were clothes washed by her?	బట్టలను ఆమె ఉతికిందా?
Were clothes not washed by her?	బట్టలను ఆమె ఉతకలేదా?

3. He fixed the clock.	3. అతను గడియారాన్ని సరిచేశాడు.
The clock was fixed by him.	గడియారమును అతను సరి చేశాడు

6. She answered questions.	6. ఆమె ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానమిచ్చింది.
