సహాయక క్రియలు (Auxiliary verbs) ప్రధానంగా మూడు రకాలు

1. Primary auxiliary verbs
2. Model auxiliary verbs
3. Semi model auxiliary verbs

1.Primary auxiliary verbs : ఇవి ప్రధానంగా              మూడు రకాలు

       Be forms : is, am, are, was, were, be, been, being.   

       Do forms: Do, Does, Did.

       Have forms: Have, Has, Had

2.Model auxiliary verbs : Will, Would, Can, Could, Shall, Should, May, Might, Must 

3.Semi model auxiliary verbs: need to, have to, used to, ought to, dare to

ఇప్పుడు Modal auxiliary verbs గురించి తెలుసుకుందాం

1.  Modal auxiliary verbs ని singular subjects  మరియు Plural subjects  అనే తేడా లేకుండా అన్ని సబ్జెక్టులకు కామన్ గా ఉపయోగిస్తారు. 

ఉదాహరణకు will అనే modal verb తీసుకున్నట్లయితే He, She, It, I, We, You, They సబ్జెక్టులు అన్నిటికీ కామన్ గా ఉపయోగిస్తారు.ఇదేవిధంగా Will, Would, Can, Could, Shall, Should, May, Might, Must   లకు కూడా  ఉపయోగిస్తారు

2.  Modal auxiliary verbs ఎక్కడైనా సెంటెన్స్ లో కనిపించినట్లయితే వాటి తర్వాత కచ్చితంగా verb1 (base form) మాత్రమే ఉపయోగించాలి.

3. Modal auxiliary verbs ఉన్న వాక్యాలను వ్యతిరేక వాక్యాలుగా మార్చుటకు కేవలం not చేరిస్తే సరిపోతుంది. వాటిని ప్రశ్నా వాక్యాలుగా మార్చుటకు  Modal auxiliary verbs ని వాక్య ప్రారంభంలో ఉంచితే సరిపోతుంది. 

4. Modal verbs ప్రత్యేకంగా ఏ టెన్స్ కి సంబంధించినవి కావు ,అయినా కూడా అది Present, Past, Future కాలాన్ని సూచించగలవు.

Structures:

1. Modal verb + be

(Present / Future situation)(ప్రస్తుతము మరియు భవిష్యత్తు పరిస్థితుల గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

2. Modal verb + have been

(Past situation) (గత కాలం  పరిస్థితులను గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

3. Modal verb + V1

(Present / Future situation) (ప్రస్తుతము మరియు భవిష్యత్తు పరిస్థితుల గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

4.Modal verb  + be + V3 (Passive voice)

(Present / Future situation) (ప్రస్తుతము మరియు భవిష్యత్తు పరిస్థితుల గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

5.Modal verb + be + V4 (Continuous)

(Present situation) (ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితులను గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

6. Modal verb + have + V3

(Past situation) (గత కాలం  పరిస్థితులను గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

7. Modal verb + have been + V4

(Past situation)(గత కాలం  పరిస్థితులను గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)

8. Modal verb + have been + V3 (Passive)

(Past situation) (గత కాలం  పరిస్థితులను గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది)
