ఆదేశాలు (commands), సూచనలు (instructions), అభ్యర్థనలు (requests), హెచ్చరికలు (warnings) వంటి వంటి వాటిని ఇతరులకు తెలియజేయ డానికి Imperative sentences ఉపయోగిస్తారు.
ఒక్క మాటలో చెప్పాలంటే ఏదైనా పని చేయమని ఇతరులకు చెప్పడం లేదా ఆజ్ఞాపించడం. ఈ సెంటెన్సెస్ సాధారణంగా verb1 తో ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. వీటి గురించి మనం గతంలో నేర్చుకుని ఉన్నాము వాటిని చూడడానికి ఇక్కడ క్లిక్ చేయండి Click here

పై సెంటెన్స్ గమనిస్తే అన్నీ కూడా verb1 తో ప్రారంభమవుతున్నాయి. ఇటువంటి సెంటెన్స్ లో సబ్జెక్టు ఉండదు. ఏదైనా పని చేయమని ఇతరులకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్నాము కాబట్టి “You” సబ్జెక్ట్ అని మనం భావించుకోవాలి.
