5 Narratives and Stories:           

గతంలో జరిగిన కొన్ని కథలను చెప్పటానికి కూడా ఈ Simple past tense ను ఉపయోగిస్తారు.

1. The Honest Woodcutter

1. నిజాయితీగల కట్టెలు కొట్టేవాడు
A woodcutter dropped his axe into a deep river. ఒక కట్టెలు కొట్టేవాడు తన గొడ్డలిని లోతైన నదిలో పడేశాడు.
He felt worried because he needed it for his daily work. తన దైనందిన పనికి అది అవసరం కాబట్టి అతను ఆందోళన చెందాడు.
An angel appeared and showed him a golden axe. ఒక దేవదూత కనిపించి అతనికి బంగారు గొడ్డలిని చూపించాడు.
